While they have come out with some commercials that are downright creepy, this one makes up for it by being one of the funniest commercials on TV. The parody of the Lionel Ritchie song/video is a classic.

Is anyone else creeped out by the granny talking so much about boys underware?

Fruit of the Loom has certainly come a long way. The commercials they’re making now or simply awesome. I’m glad they’re not doing this any more.

Yeah, I post a lot of the GEICO commercials. I just love those cavemen. But this one is actually one of my wife’s favorites.

Honestly I think this was brilliant. They pulled the old Rock Em Sock Em robots out thin air. It really brings back memories of the only toy I never wanted and never owned. I think I’ll go buy a Ford.

This is probably one of the most famous commercials ever aired. It’s a beautiful sentiment that played well to the feelings of the public at the time. That doesn’t at all date it though. It’s a timeless commercial that people of every generation should enjoy. So have a Coke and smile!

Blue - Fruit of the Loom

They’ve really done a good job in the marketing department for Fruit of the Loom lately. This commercial is the pentacle of their efforts.

I never really understood the whole thing with “Please don’t squeeze the Charmin”. Was it just Mr. Whipple’s way of flirting with what we now call “soccer moms”? Anyway, he doesn’t say it in this one.
