My Favorite Commercials

Geico has quite a few of these “caveman” commercials. This one’s got to be my favorite.

A few things really stick out in this one to me. That way he looks down at his boarding pass before he sees the sign is so real. I mean I do that all the time. I travel most weeks for business and I know I must look at my boarding pass ten times before I get on the plane. You’re always wondering if you’re going to the right gate. The clothes and the tennis racket are another thing that make this “yuppie caveman” so endearing. even though he’s a caveman, you identify with him. You have to feel sorry for him when he feels insulted. It almost makes me want to buy him a cappuccino.

Now, if you’ll permit me a little indulgence, I would like to thank Geico for their great commercials. They never fail to amuse.
